The Ruby Association has announced ‘The Ruby Logo Contest‘. An official Ruby logo is needed to promote Ruby, and therefore a contest to select one.

Requirements

  1. it must be easily recognizable as the Ruby logo
  2. it must look good in low resolution and in grayscale
  3. works both with and without text `Ruby’ (can be ignored if the text `Ruby’ is part of the logo)
  4. you may use the Ruby logo kit

The deadline is 1st Oct. 2007 and the winner gets 100,000 yens and would be selected by Yukihiro “Matz” Matsumoto himself.

Why wait? Go for it guys.
